Private Pay Home Care in Cooper City
The household organises it and the household pays, hour by hour. You will hear the figure on the very first telephone call, not at the end of some assessment.
What paying directly actually buys
Paying out of pocket is the dearer route, and it buys two things the cheaper ones cannot. The first is speed, because nothing sits between the decision and the first morning. The second is being able to keep the whole thing small.
That second one is why this agency works the way it does. Where the household itself is footing the bill, buying two hours instead of twelve, insisting on meeting the aide, and changing tack in week three are all perfectly ordinary requests. None of that is a favour.
Hours go up, come down, or stop, in either direction, as the situation moves. Nothing here waits for a review date to arrive.
Everything arranged here is private pay. There is no eligibility process, no waiting list and no third party deciding what a household is allowed.
What that means in practice is that the family is the client, and the family can change their mind — about the hours, the days or the aide — with a telephone call.
How the money works
Stated plainly, and stated before anybody sets foot in the house.
An hourly rate, stated early
Said on the very first telephone call, together with the shortest visit we book, so nothing lands unexpectedly later.
The rate follows the work
Sitting with somebody costs less per hour than washing them. Running both inside one visit is routine and makes no difference to the paperwork.
No long contract
The booking runs a week at a time, and either side may end it on fair notice.
Up and down as needed
Added when a fortnight has gone badly, taken away again once it steadies. All of it by telephone.
Invoiced against what happened
You pay for visits that happened, and each line on the invoice has a written note sitting behind it.
Nothing owed for the introduction
That first meeting never appears on an invoice, and no paperwork is signed while it is happening.
What we do not handle
- Paperwork or claims for any public programme
- Lodging a long-term care insurance claim for you
- Applying for veterans' benefits
- Advice on money, tax or estates of any sort
- Invoicing anybody other than the family for the hours
- Arrangements where whoever pays is not the household setting the care up
Ask the rate on the first call
Nobody should need to sit through an assessment in their own front room simply to learn the hourly rate. You will have it on the telephone.
